Compensation: $24 per hour, plus stipend for data use.
Hours: The hours will be concentrated but sporadic. For example, it is expected to be 2-3 days of work, every 2-3 months.
Job Summary
Left Turn Right Turn (LTRT) is supporting ongoing work to measure the performance of real-time transit information systems in the Metro Vancouver area. We are seeking occasional, part-time data collectors located in the Metro Vancouver area that are passionate about transit and want to support the improvement of real-time transit information in the region.

About Left Turn Right Turn
Left Turn Right Turn is a small transportation and accessibility consulting firm, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. We work with transit agencies and other organizations to improve their services for the improvement of communities and enhancement of residents’ quality of life. We have clients in every province across Canada, and are active in multiple US states. Our clients range from local municipalities, transit agencies, small and large businesses, provincial governments, and federal agencies.
Within public transit, this means that we develop short- and long-term plans for transit agencies, help them procure new transit technologies, and conduct feasibility studies for new types of transit modes.
Job Responsibilities
On-site Transit Data Collectors will collect valuable raw data at key bus stops within Metro Vancouver.
Your responsibilities will include:
Training on the data collection protocol will be provided to successful candidates. Note that because the data collection takes place outdoors, successful candidates are responsible for appropriately preparing for extended time spent in outdoor weather conditions.
