What you can expect working at LTRT
LTRT has a mix of employees plus a network of awesome independent affiliates we work with for various projects. We’ve established our culture, but we’re still building the company. Would you like to play a role?
Our aim is to grow and develop each employee along with the company. We know the key to LTRT’s success is investing in our employees. That's why we:
- are piloting a reduced work week giving employees every second Friday off
- consulted a compensation expert for the structure of our compensation packages
- found an HR consultant for organizational development, and
- engaged a trainer for leadership development sessions (which you will participate in)
LTRT has a fully distributed workforce. This means all of us work remotely. However, because most of us live in and around Toronto, we have regular meetups and in-person co-working sessions (plus summer barbeques and board game nights). Being fully remote means we aren’t confined by geography, so we have staff and affiliate consultants in Charlottetown, Winnipeg, Montreal, Vancouver, and beyond!
It’s hard to start a new job remotely, but we do everything in our power to make sure you feel a part of the team immediately.
What Else?
Our compensation package includes:
- A competitive salary
- A health spending account (replenished annually) and other benefis
- 3 weeks of vacation (to start)
- Extra paid days off when we close (e.g. 3 days in late December)
- 2 weeks of sick days to use for your own illness, medical appointments, or those of close family members
- The opportunity to participate in employee ownership
- Profit sharing
Vacation and comp time is respected. You will also receive an annual training budget, because we fundamentally believe in continual personal growth and development. Performance and salary reviews are never skipped (and yes, we have an established process for this).
You will be asked how LTRT can keep improving. And we reserve time to connect, whether it’s for showing off our new side projects or for some board game sessions.
